Rosoboronexport Puts Up Strong Show at Indo Defence 2016

Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) is displaying 225 pieces of military hardware, signifying its strong commitment for the Indonesian defence market, at the Indo Defence show, underway in Jakarta, Indonesia.
 
Nine stands by major Russian domestic defense manufacturers are showcasing the latest Russian Military hardware at the defence exhibition.  
 
”Indo Defence 2016 is one of the largest international arms shows in the Asia-Pacific Region. Traditionally, this region accounts for about 40 percent of Rosoboronexport’s exports. The special exporter is showcasing here the latest army, air defense, air, naval and special military hardware which has been tested under real combat conditions and is in great demand,” said Rosoboronexport Deputy CEO Sergey Goreslavsky who leads the joint Rostec and Rosoboronexport delegation.
 
The display by the state special exporter includes scale models of the Su-35 multipurpose super-manoeuvrable fighter, Ka-52 scout/attack helicopter, T-90S MBT, BMP-3M infantry fighting vehicle, Buk-M2E SAM system, Project 636 large diesel-electric submarine, Project 11356 escort ship (frigate), and UGST universal deep-sea homing torpedo.
 
Considered promising for exports are also the Project 12701 Alexandrite-E coastal mine countermeasures ship, a large landing ship derived from on Project 11711, and the Project 21301 rescue vessel.
 
Strong interest has also been evinced in the combat-proven Kalibr-PLE (Club-S) and Kalibr-NKE (Club-N) cruise missile systems.
 
The MiG-29M/M2 multifunctional frontline fighter, Su-32 fighter-bomber, Yak-130 combat training aircraft, Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, Mi-26T2, Mi-17V-5 / Mi-171Sh, Mi-35M helicopters and Orlan-10E and Tachyon unmanned aerial systems have also received interest at the show. 
 
The T-72 and T-90 tanks, BTR-80A and BTR-82A armoured personnel carriers, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and associated training aids are also being showcased at Indo Defence.
