Description

The Asia Defence Expo & Conference Series (ADECS) is a leading defence and military exhibition focussed specifically on trends and opportunities within the Asia Pacific region.

ADECS 2018 attracts key local government officials with the wider defence industry, giving the opportunity to over 50 companies to showcase their latest technologies, solutions and systems. Through expert speakers and unrivalled content, ADECS will host 4 technical conferences through the show: MilSim Asia, UDT Asia, Electronic Warfare Singapore and Maritime Defence Asia.

“Across the globe every nation is in search of new defence capabilities to match the ever changing global defence and security context. These new capabilities need to demonstrate that they will be effective and provide value for money as no defence budget is limitless. As Asian economies have grown there has been a parallel growth in Asian defence budgets, and in many aspects of defence and security the balance of capabilities is moving from the Euro-Atlantic region to Asia. In response, there is an increasing emphasis across the global defence and security industry on Asian requirements and Asian governments are seeking solutions that will better map to their needs in an Asian context..”

Rear Admiral Simon Williams OBE, Chairman, Clarion Defence & Security

The Asian Defence Exhibition and Conference Series (ADECS) brings together policy thinkers, military users, defence researchers, and the global defence industry to examine Asian requirements in key defence technologies and to explore the range of solutions that may be available. Now in its third edition, ADECS is firmly on the global defence events calendar providing on one level a vital bridge for those with technological solutions and those who require the latest capabilities to meet, build relationships and find common ground. At another level ADECS provides a vehicle for innovation: exposing those who attend a range of both new technologies and new concepts generates the vital sparks that will create new ideas, new innovations and new inventions.

Leading international defence companies will be showcasing their latest innovations and technologies in the exhibition. Sponsors include Rheinmetall Group, Keysight Technologies, Thinklogical and ELT Group. Other exhibitors demonstrating their latest defence technologies include Leonardo, Bartington Defence and Space, Image Soft Oy, US Office of Naval Research, Wärtsilä ELAC Nautik GmbH, Bohemia Interactive Simulations, Calytrix, Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH, D-TA Systems, Elbit Systems – Elisra, HITEK Electronic Materials, Nexa Technologies, PROCITEC GmbH and the Association of Old Crows.
